BvR Flamenco big band confirmed at FIJAZZ!
The BvR flamenco big band will be playing at FIJAZZ (Festival Internacional de Jazz de Alicante) on 15th of July, featuring Antonio Serrano (harmonica) and David de Jacoba (voice).
It’s an honour to be part of this festival playing in the amazing ADDA auditorium and sharing the program with the likes of Chick Corea, Richard Bona, Manhattan Transfer, Robert Glasper, Diego el Cigala, Chano Dominguez, Vicente Amigo among many others.

David de Jacoba has been referred to as the biggest emerging flamenco talent of today. His album “Jubileo” was nominated for best record in the “Cante Revelación” category by “Flamenco Hoy”. The great Paco de Lucía recruited him to join his legendary sextet, a real privilege to feature his unique voice on “la gaviota” and “y tu ni siquiera lo sabes”.

Harmonica virtuoso and member of Paco de Lucia’s band for more that decade will be a special featured on the upcoming album!
Antonio Serrano’s amazing technique and versatility have lead to over 300 collaborations, 9 albums as leader and as 10 years (and 8 world tours) alongside flamenco eminence Paco de Lucía.
Antonio has also played and/or recorded with Toots Thielemans, Wynton Marsalis, Jerry Gonzalez, Chano Dominguez, Lou Bennett, Jorge Pardo, Vicente Amigo, Tomatito, Armando Manzanero and Luis Salinas among many others.
New album coming up!
The band will be diving into the studio next September to record “Luz de Luna”, their second album.
